Blogburst for Fred, Day 2; UPDATE: We Reached Our Goal!
UPDATE III: SUCCESS! You came through when Fred needed you. This is further evidence that Fred is on a roll going into the first Presidential contest next week.
I want to thank all of you for posting on your weblogs, leaving comments on blogs, and talking to friends and family through e-mail and social networks. This was a true grassroots effort. Bloggers came together with other FredHeads to help Fred. We’re all in this together to get a clear conservative into the White House. When Fred needed our help we came through.
That’s not to say you shouldn’t stop giving. The red pickup truck can be filled up even more. Iowa may be the first contest, but other states follow. Fred will need the funds to get his conservative message to every voter. Keep on telling friends and family about Fred and ask them to donate to Fred’s campaign.

UPDATE II: We’re less than $10,000 away from the goal. The pace has really picked up in the last few hours. Don’t let up. Let’s get over the top and fill the red pickup all the way.
We’re a little over $100,000 away from hitting our goal. So the Blogburst for Fred continues. John Hawkins has pulled out all the stops. You know Fred doing well in Iowa is that important to him.
If we meet our goal of $248,846 by 6:00 pm it will make a difference. Fred’s bus tour is taking his conservative message directly to Iowa voters. What he needs is this ad to run until the Iowa caucuses to make sure Fred has a solid performance:

Rick Moran, the instigator of the blogburst, wrote, “A man like this deserves the second look that Iowans are giving him. Doesn’t he deserve your support as well?” Getting “Substance” on the air will let Iowans know there is a clear conservative choice, and that’s Fred Thompson. Let’s “Keep on Truckin’ for Fred.”
